Clients
Best BitTorrent clients for downloading files.
Safety Warning
Section titled “Safety Warning”[!DANGER] BIND YOUR VPN INTERFACE. Just running a VPN is not enough. If your VPN connection drops for a second, your real IP address will leak to the torrent swarm (and copyright trolls).
How to fix in qBittorrent:
- Open Settings > Advanced.
- Find “Network Interface”.
- Change it from “Any interface” to your VPN adapter (e.g.,
wg0,tun0,Mullvad).- Now, if the VPN disconnects, qBittorrent cannot access the internet. It acts as a foolproof Kill Switch.
Desktop (Windows / Linux / macOS)
Section titled “Desktop (Windows / Linux / macOS)”The gold standard.

A tiny, high-performance client for Windows.
